Events Gallery
Welcome to our Events Gallery. Every event we host is an invitation to gather, to learn, to remember what brought us here, and to meet the people who share that curiosity. Over the years we have celebrated at the Farm, convened at conferences, staged cabarets, and sat in circles with the researchers, healers, and friends who make up this community.

Opening Night of MDMA, From Molecule to Movement (May 2, 2026)
On May 2, 2026, the Shulgin Foundation brought materials from the Shulgin archives into public view for the first time, as part of the opening night of MDMA, From Molecule to Movement at the Berkeley Alembic in Berkeley, California. The exhibit, made possible by a grant from the UC Berkeley Center for the Science of Psychedelics, traces MDMA's pharmacological, therapeutic, and cultural history through artifacts from Sasha's lab bench, archival documents, large-format mural art by Bay Area artists Hanif Wondir and Domini Anne, and a short film produced by the Foundation. More than 140 people attended the opening, including longtime friends and colleagues of Sasha and Ann. The evening marked not only the public debut of these materials but also the first step toward integrating the Shulgin archives into the UC Berkeley library system, fulfilling Ann and Sasha's vision of preserving their work where it can be properly maintained and accessed by future researchers.
Sasha Shulgin's 100th Birthday Celebration (June 17, 2025)
One hundred years after Sasha's birth, we gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of a man whose curiosity changed the course of psychedelic science. The celebration coincided with Psychedelic Science 2025, bringing together old friends of the Farm and new ones, united by a shared appreciation for what Sasha and Ann built and what continues to grow from it.
Psychedelic Science 2025 (June 16-20)
Psychedelic Science 2025 was an opportunity to bring the Shulgin legacy into one of the field's largest gatherings. Our panel, "The Shulgin Legacy: From MDMA to Modern Medicine," drew over 250 attendees for a conversation about scientific rigor, therapeutic frameworks, and what it means to carry this community forward responsibly. The booth drew everyone from longtime friends of the Farm to people encountering Ann and Sasha's story for the first time.
IGNITE: A Psychedelic Cabaret (November 3, 2024)
Psychedelic Cabaret brought together musicians, performers, and artists for an evening of music, ritual theatre, and genuine play. The event was a fundraiser for Confessions of a Psychonaut, a documentary by Mareesa Stertz following the path of psychedelic healing.
Easter Gathering at the Farm (April 20, 2025)
Every Easter Sunday, the Farm opens its doors to friends, longtime community members, and a few fortunate newcomers. It is one of our oldest traditions, and one of the simplest: good company, familiar ground, and another year of gathering in the place where so much began.
Oral Histories of the Psychedelic Underground (September 28, 2025)
Much of psychedelic history was never formally recorded, clandestine out of necessity. This ongoing series at Shulgin Farm creates space to recover what has been lost or forgotten, honoring the missing decades of underground practice and the elders who carried this wisdom forward when there was no safe place to document it.
Pre-Symposium Gathering (March 26, 2025)
Shulgin Farm opened its doors to attendees of the Bay Area Psychedelic Science Symposium for an afternoon visit. Organized as a side trip for conference participants, the gathering offered attendees an opportunity to walk the grounds and experience psychedelic history firsthand.
